New: Strawberry substrate trough 8L
This new substrate container is characterized by an optimum height of 14 cm and width of 15 cm, a perfectly controllable substrate volume and its suitability for various different growing systems.
At 48 cm, the 8-litre substrate container for strawberries has the same external dimensions as some existing substrate containers. The width, height and measure of volume have been adjusted and improved. At an internal width of 15 cm and height of 14 cm, the plant/substrate ratio is optimal. The volume has been reduced to 8 litres.
This makes it easier to control the substrate, which means that the strawberry grower will need less of it. Subject to the desired incidence of light and planting distance, growers can place the containers close together or spaced out in the channel. The container is available in different feet sizes that will fit different gutters and racks.
