Beekenkamp: collaboration for the best result

Three spheres of activity, three expertises, three companies that join forces. Exactly that is the Beekenkamp Group. A family business consisting of Beekenkamp Plants, vegetables & ornamentals, Beekenkamp Verpakkingen (Packaging) and Deliflor Chrysanten (Chrysanthemums).

Since its foundation in 1951, the group has developed into a company that employs 2200 people worldwide, that produces over 1.7 billion young plants per year and has a total greenhouse area of almost 80 hectares.

Expertise in horticultural products
Beekenkamp Verpakkingen has a lot of expertise with regard to products for the horticultural sector. The company manufactures many products including plant nursery trays, slip plant trays, substrate troughs and trays, plant raising and cell trays for ornamental, fruit and vegetable plants. Also part of the expertise are preparation boxes and export crates for flowerbulbs.

Logistical solutions
However, Beekenkamp Verpakkingen also offers complete logistical solutions outside the world of horticulture in the shape of foldable crates, transport crates, nestable and reverse stackable crates and pallet boxes. The ideal solution for efficient storage and transport. One of the most innovative solutions is the QuickFold, the world’s fastest collapsible crate.

Tailor made product development
The product development department offers professional support for developing innovative injection moulded products. After making an inventory of the requirements and demands, a 3D design is made. This uses the
latest software and technologies. Next, a prototype is made. Material, product shape and production method play an important part during the development process.
